1. Provider and scope
These booking and rental terms are issued by SARL Domaine Le Colombier, operator of Sport Dienville, with its registered office at 30 rue du Fossé, 10500 Dienville, France. Activities take place at 8 avenue Jean Lanez, 10500 Dienville.
They apply to kayak, bicycle and accessory bookings made online, by telephone or at reception. Before confirming, the customer acknowledges the activity, equipment, total price, date and time selected.
2. Offer, availability and confirmation
Services, durations, prices and available quantities are those shown at the time of booking. Adding equipment to the cart does not confirm a booking.
Equipment may be held temporarily while the card guarantee is validated. The booking is final when the customer receives a booking number and confirmation email.
If equipment becomes unavailable because of a breakdown, incident or event beyond Sport Dienville’s control, an equivalent solution, rescheduling or cancellation free of charge will be offered.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros including taxes. The price shown in the cart at confirmation applies.
No deposit or payment is charged online. The full amount is paid on site before departure or collection.
- Cash
- Bank card
- Chèques-Vacances holiday vouchers
4. Card guarantee
Stripe securely stores the card only as a booking guarantee. Sport Dienville does not receive or retain the full card number. This is neither a deposit nor a payment.
The guarantee may only be used if the customer does not attend without cancelling beforehand. The full booking amount then remains due and may be charged. Sport Dienville informs the customer of the reason and amount before charging the guarantee.
5. Changes, cancellations and no-shows
Requests must be sent to sport.dienville@gmail.com with the booking number. A cancellation reported before the scheduled time is free of charge.
Changes remain subject to availability and are final only after confirmation by Sport Dienville.
Without prior cancellation, absence at the scheduled time is a no-show and the full booking amount remains due.
6. Times and late arrival
Kayak times are fixed group departures. Customers must arrive at least 10 minutes before the booked time.
The group cannot be delayed. A customer arriving after departure cannot join and is treated as a no-show. Another slot may only be offered if space is available.
For bicycles, the selected time is the collection time. Customers must inform Sport Dienville if they are delayed.
7. Weather, river and safety
Sport Dienville may change, reschedule or cancel an activity when weather, river level or flow, route conditions, an authority decision or another safety condition prevents normal operation.
If Sport Dienville cancels, the customer is offered rescheduling, an expressly accepted credit or a refund of amounts already paid. The card guarantee is not charged.
Weather considered unfavourable by the customer does not by itself justify cancellation without consequences when the activity remains safely available.
8. Kayak participation
Participants must be physically fit, able to swim and follow the route and all safety instructions.
- Arrive 10 minutes before departure.
- Wear all supplied safety equipment throughout the trip.
- Wear water shoes or suitable trainers.
- Flip-flops, bare feet, Crocs, heels and other unsuitable footwear are prohibited.
9. Bicycle use
The bicycle must be used as intended, according to instructions and traffic rules. Helmets are compulsory for children under 12 and recommended for everyone.
A bicycle must not be entrusted to an undeclared person or used under the influence of alcohol, drugs or incompatible substances.
10. Equipment, damage, loss and theft
The customer checks the apparent condition on collection, reports any issue immediately and remains responsible for the equipment until it is returned with all accessories.
Normal wear is borne by Sport Dienville. The justified repair or replacement cost may be charged for loss, theft or damage caused by misuse, negligence or failure to follow instructions, taking account of age and condition.
11. Liability
Sport Dienville is responsible for proper performance as required by law. Customers remain responsible for damage caused by their fault, misuse or failure to follow instructions.
Customers should ensure that they have suitable personal liability insurance. Sport Dienville is not liable for personal belongings unless fault on its part is proven.
12. Right of withdrawal
Bookings concern leisure activities supplied on a specific date or during a specific period. Under Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the statutory 14-day withdrawal period does not apply.
Changes and cancellations remain governed by these terms.
13. Complaints, data and disputes
Complaints must first be sent to sport.dienville@gmail.com. After a prior written complaint remains unresolved, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator appointed for Sport Dienville.
Booking, transactional email and card guarantee data are processed under the website privacy policy.
French law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection in the customer’s country of residence. Booking records, confirmations and related technical events may be used as evidence.
